Parks Landscape Maintenance Staff
Kaysville Parks & Recreation Department has various seasonal full and part time landscape maintenance openings beginning Monday, March 5, 2012 and running through the end of October. Typical duties may include planter bed care, sprinkler repair, trimming grass, planting, cleaning, etc. Starting pay is $9.00 per hour. Work week hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with possible Saturday work required for some crews. Flexible work schedules may be considered. Applicants must be in good physical health, possess a valid Utah driver’s license and be at least 18 years old. Retired individuals, college students, etc., are encouraged to apply. Sports Field Maintenance Staff
Kaysville Parks and Recreation Department has four (4) seasonal sports field maintenance openings beginning Monday, March 5, 2012. Typical duties are preparing all softball, baseball, soccer, and football fields for games. Starting pay is $9.00 per hour. Work week hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with some Saturday work required. Weekly work hours may vary due to recreational athletic program needs. Applicants must be in good physical condition, have a sports related background, possess a valid Utah driver’s license, and be at least 18 years old. Retired individuals, college students, etc., are encouraged to apply. Kaysville Parks & Recreation Department has one seasonal landscape rider mower operator opening beginning Monday, April 2, 2012 and running through the middle October. Typical duties include mowing of parks and public properties, etc. Starting pay is $11.00 per hour. Work week hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday and Thursday.
